Background

I have always loved being in touch with nature and was interested in environmental issues. I joined this organization because I wanted to do something to contribute to environmental issues.

Objectives

・To let people know about the carbon dioxide concentration of the earth and Okayama Prefecture
・To let people know how interesting the science of nature is
・To make people aware of global environmental issues

Initiatives

Eco-friendly classes for middle elementary through junior high school students, both in-person and online. Using computer technology to use images that would normally be impossible to see, children are made aware of environmental issues.

Results

Many people said in the post-event survey that they had a great time. By making children aware of environmental issues in this way, we are also making their parents aware of the environment (through parent-child conversations) and creating awareness.
