Establishment of OU Fellowship to assist students enrolling in Doctor’s Course
With the aim of supporting cultivation of young researchers, Okayama University established the Okayama University Science, Technology, and Innovation Creation Fellowship (OU Fellowship) to assist students enrolling in the Doctor’s Course.
Each successful applicant is provided with a fellowship consisting of a research budget (400,000 to 1,100,000 yen per year) and research encouragement funding (1,800,000 yen as living expenses) as well as a variety of support for the improvement of research capabilities and secure career paths.
The OU Fellowship will be continued in AY2022 and beyond to produce advanced doctoral human resources with advanced expertise, excellent research capabilities, and transferable skills (skills that can be transferred and applied).
