Construction of Okayama Prefecture Integrated Medical Business Continuity Plan (Healthcare BCP) supported by the local economy(OHBC)

Social Background : There is no system for cooperation between regional multi-professional organizations in Healthcare BCP (HBCP) in preparation for a major disaster.

Purpose Of The Activity : By strengthening and sustaining the functions of hospitals, including companies related to medical care, it is possible to improve medical efficiency of a disaster. In order for many health- related organizations to share a place for inter-organizational learning, Dept. Disaster Medicine and Management (DMMA) will built with a regional HBCP with DX, as the core of many organizations.

Outline Of Activity : We create a DX-ized regional HBCP standard. In addition, we will be established a series of regional multi-organization cooperation system (MACS) for conducting medical activities.

Expected Effect : Stabilization of the living infrastructure at the deeper layer(Tier 3) by MACS will reduce the medical demand in the region and will contribute to reducing the burden on hospitals. Furthermore, since we will create standards for disaster medicine activity using DX, we can expect to build measures to strengthen cooperation centered on lifelines and logistics. In addition, it can be expected to play a major role in revitalizing the regional economy in which medical practice, logistics, infrastructure-related companies, insurance and finance, etc. cooperate.
