Background and Objectives

Now that a super-aging society advances and health life extension is expected, promoting health promotion as preventive medicine is a pressing issue. The construction of  creative health promotion plan and its base formation  continuously resolve the decline in vitality in the rapidly aging Masa area,  and are useful for other models of regional redevelopment.

Overview and Expected effect

The university has a tradition and track record of all-man medical care including complex radon therapy, and there is also  rich in research on elucidation of pathophysiology and pathogenesis of indications, new search, optimization of treatment methods, etc. This is a unique global field of the university, and is practiced in the Misasa area with radon of natural resources. Furthermore, we develop bathing method / exercise therapy (forest bath) and nutrition therapy with special product for health promotion, and connect with activation such as Tottori central area and Okayama prefecture north (Sakushu) area 10 municipalities mainly in Misasa district. The theme has many effects, such as bringing about redevelopment of the Misasa area and its surrounding areas with natural resources, through the realization of health promotion that creatively utilizes regional characteristics.
