Objectives and activities

   We provide not only career counseling/occupational education, but also career education aiming to support students’ career development through the entire three years as education in which students can acquire the ability and attitude required to choose their own way of life themselves. We continue to review and improve the educational activities through field studies and workplace activities in the three settings of Okayama University, local companies and non-profit organizations.
   The main activities in each year in academic year 2019 are as follows:
(1st year) Visiting Okayama University Faculty of Education
(2nd year) Visiting organizations featuring various career fields
Okayama University Medical School; Dental School; and Faculties of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Agriculture; Engineering; Science; Environmental Science and Technology; Law; and Economics
Chugoku Bank, Benesse Corporation, Kanko Gakuseifuku, Okayama Coop, Koeido, Okashi-tsukasa Mizue, Okayama Broadcasting, Okayama NPO Center, NPO Dappi, Social Welfare Organization Saiseikai Imperial Gift Foundation, etc.
(3rd year) Career counseling utilizing the learning in the first and second years
