Development of new medical device for safety in hemodialysis patients
Objectives and Overview
The number of hemodialysis patients are increasing by diabetes and aging society. There are many problems about safety in the hemodialysis field. To solve the problems, the development of new device is useful for not only patients but also medical staffs. We have developed the new devices to enhance the safety. Insertion support device for tunneled cuffed catheter is now available in commercial use. It is useful to place a catheter accurately and prevent catheter waste during replacement. Fall prevention surgical board is now studied in the hospital. It is useful for fall prevention of patients during procedure under X-ray. We wish our developed devices are useful around the world.
